Cycling Group October 2024

CYCLING ITINERARY – October 2024

Cycling commences at 8.00am Cyclists return at 9.30am for refreshments at the meeting point.

If a ride is to be cancelled a WhatsApp message will be sent to mobile phones prior to 6.30am.

 7 October — D’Lights Café at Dolphin Quay – Ride to Madora Bay – Flat ride

14 October  — Special Hills Ride. Meet at Mundaring Hotel (cnr Nichol and Jacoby Street Mundaring) at 0930 for 1000 departure. We ride the trail clockwise to the Parkerville Tavern for lunch between 1200 and 1300. We then continue along the old railway formation to the Mundaring Hotel to arrive about 1400.

21 October — Jamacia Blue Café, Halls Head Shopping Centre – Ride to Pleasant Grove along Estuary – Flat ride

28 October — Joseph & Dulcie Nannup Trail, Old Pinjarra Road; park beside Serpentine River BYO coffee & chair – River and Cemetery or Marlee Reserve circuit – Some hills

23 September — Public Holiday no ride.

30 September — Leprechaun Café Dawesville – Ride along Estuary – Flat ride.

August 5 - Spill The Beans Café, Seascapes – Estuary and two Bridges, Peelwood Parade – Couple of hills.

August 12 – Jamacia Blue Cafe, Halls Head Shopping Centre – Ride to Pleasant Grove along Estuary – Flat ride

19 August - Jamacia Blue Café at Halls Head Shopping Centre – Ride to Doddies and around HallsHead.  Some hills.

26 August — Leprechaun Café Dawesville – Ride along Estuary – Flat ride.

Golf Group

Hi Fellow Probus Golfers

Please be advised that I am in the process of arranging 2 golf games at Halls Head Country Club as follows:

Monday 10th April 2023 12.30 pm hit off.(Easter Monday)18 holes

Monday 24th April 2023 12.20 pm hit off. 18 Holes

Once I have had confirmation from the Golf Club I will email you accordingly.

Also I will initially be booking for 12 Players which will be 3 groups of 4.

I will need advice whether you require a cart or you will be walking.

Our next Golf Outing will be Guilderton with the Probus Caravan Group and Fishing  Group 6th to 11th May 2023.

Guilderton will most probably be 9 holes and if we get a chance 9 holes on the Gingin course.

I await your reply in relation to these dates to indicate if you will be participating.
